Chapter 4: Designing for Emotion

1. What is one thing in Chapter 4 that you agree with?

I agree that a little monkey, such as Freddie from MailChimp, can change someone’s perspective on an application and feeling when using that application. Someone mentioned on Twitter that Freddie changed the way they did email and loved it.

2. What is one thing in Chapter 4 you disagree with?

I disagree that saying “you may” instead of “you must” when it comes to changes on social media, specifically Twitter because the majority of the time I dislike the changes, but then a couple days later I am used to the changes and agree that they make the application better. It may not always be that smooth though. I agree that people will be frustrated with the new changes in the application but over all, people will be grateful that the application was made better.
